About this event

  • 2 hours

NH Energy Week is a series of events put on by partner organizations highlighting prominent energy topics and issues, providing a forum to discuss solutions, and bringing leading experts together to share knowledge. To kick-off the 2024 event series, we'll delve into the world of the state's four utilities.

Join us on Monday, May 6, at the Meriden Public Library for an enlightening evening focused on energy efficiency and community engagement. Learn about the integration of energy-efficient features, supported through the NHSaves Commercial Program. There will be a building tour, followed by a panel discussion from key players and a brief Q&A. Dive into discussions surrounding the town's 2030 goals and the results of blower door testing, mechanical systems and measurement and verification. The panel discussion will begin at approximately 6:45p and will have an online viewing option.

Event Highlights:

🔍 Exclusive Tour: Get a behind-the-scenes look at the recent construction of the Library with the support of Liberty Utilities, the project's electric provider. Learn about the energy-efficient features incorporated into the new building, air-source heat pumps, and the energy recovery ventilator system. (In-person only)

💬 Presentation: Gather in the community room for a presentation on energy efficiency with a Liberty team representative, project coordinators and Library staff. Learn about how the project came to fruition, the hurdles overcome, and the results after the completion of the project. Particpate in the Q&A that follows the discussion. (Join virtually)

🤝 Networking Opportunities: Connect with fellow attendees, industry professionals, and leaders in the energy sector. Exchange ideas, explore potential collaborations, and consider how the success of this project can be applied to other projects in New Hampshire communities. (In-person only)

In-person space is limited, please reserve your spot to join us in reshaping the narrative of energy consumption, one page at a time.
